KAMAX has developed steel and bar cutters, straighteners and hydraulic power units to ensure optimal processes within its own manufacturing operations. KAMAX is one of the largest fastener manufacturers in the world. KAMAX Steel Cutters

KAMAX Steel Cutters cut steel wires and rods of circular, rectangular, hexagonal and quadratic cross-sections. Because of their small size and excellent handling properties our cutters can be used in all areas of steel producing and manufacturing industries. Several versions are available: SK for standard cut, GS for straight cut and KM with wedge blades. Standard KAMAX Steel Cutters with GS and SK blades cut materials up to a diameter of 50mm. Special series cutters with blades SK, GS and KM can accommodate diameters up to 80mm.

KAMAX Straighteners

RK series KAMAX Straighteners are used to straighten wire and bar materials up to a diameter of 42mm. Various variants of handles and suspensions give our steel cutters and straighteners a high degree of flexibility as well as excellent ergonomic properties.

KAMAX Hydraulic Power Units

KAMAX Steel Cutters and Straighteners are connected with type T or type R KAMAX Hydraulic Power Units via high-pressure hoses. A single hydraulic power unit can supply several cutters or straighteners. KAMAX Power Units are equipped with either mechano-hydraulic or electro-hydraulic controls. Also available are carts to ensure maximum versatility and freedom of movement.

Testing Presses from KAMAX

KAMAX also produces hydraulic testing presses ranging from 500kN to 5000kN for compression, indentation and bending tests in the materials lab. KAMAX Hydraulic Presses are also available as double presses with integrated test sample cutter.
